GRADUATE TRAVEL AND RESEARCH GRANTs

The Program for Society and the Environment at the University of Maryland has invited applications for graduate student research and travel grants. Students studying the relationship between society and the natural environment are encouraged to apply for funding, which can be used to support field research or the presentation of research papers at conferences. The proposed research or presentation must be related to the PSE’s mission to encourage research on the social side of the society-environment relationship. Grants up to $1,000 will be offered to Graduate Students who are currently enrolled in a University of Maryland Ph.D. program. Priority will be given to students who have not received this funding previously.

There will be no grants awarded during the 2020-2021 academic year.

This grant program was funded by a generous grant from the Dean of the UMD Graduate School.
